Home-Start Deeside offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children living in the local community.
We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers – who have experience of childcare - to visit families with at least one child under five at home to offer informal, friendly and confidential support.
To help give children the best possible start in life, we support parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen and enjoy their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.
If you would like to know more about how we can help your family, or if you want to volunteer, call us now on 01330 824 443 or email us at email@example.com
Homestart Deeside is a Banchory based charitable organisation which assists vulnerable families with young children throughout the entire Deeside area.
We offer completely free, confidential advice and support to families with children under 5 years of age and can signpost to other agencies if necessary. We are part of Homestart UK a nationwide organisation.
Our shop is located at Unit 2, Charleston Gardens, Aboyne and is open from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. When you come in to the shop, all the money you spend will go towards helping local families.
If you have some time to spare why not find out about becoming one of our shop volunteers by contacting us and asking for Yvonne Smith, the shop project co-ordinator?
We have a number of upcoming events for the purposes of both fundraising and training new volunteers to begin working with families in the area. If you wish to volunteer, or attend one of our great fun charity events, just have a look at our calendar to check the dates of future events.
Alternatively, you can always give us a call on 01330 824 443 if you would like further information.
